The role
To engage, as an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, thesis project supervision, scholarship of teaching, service, and other activities associated with the School. It is expected that the successful candidates will play a major role in the delivery of core computing and engineering courses and may contribute to other teaching areas in the School.
The person
We seek to appoint candidates with interest and experience in teaching practical courses covered by the UQ discipline descriptors of Computer Science (COMP), Computer Systems & Software Engineering (CSSE), and Design Computing (DECO). Candidates should possess relevant qualifications as per the attached Position Descriptions.The discipline areas for the positions are:
- Software Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Interaction Design
The successful appointees will have experience in the development and delivery of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, experience in course coordination and national recognition in the relevant discipline. Remuneration
These are full-time, fixed term appointments for 3 years available at Academic Level A, Level B, or Level C. Appointment level will be commensurate to qualifications and experience.
The remuneration package for Level A will be in the range $64,533 - $87,535 per annum plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,504 - $102,416 per annum).
The remuneration package for Level B will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 per annum plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807 - $128,020 per annum).
The remuneration package for Level C will be in the range $112,874 - $130,150 per annum plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $132,063 - $152,276 per annum).
