Health Services Family Association Inc (HSFA) operates two childcare centres in the QE II precinct.
Altitude Long Day Care and the Outside School Hours care program. HSFA has been operating for over 25 years providing outstanding care for children aged 0-12 years over this period. As a non for profit incorporated association, the centre is run by families for the families and community of QE II employees. We have strong values of care, respect, learning and safety for our staff, children and families in providing educational care services for our children.
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to work alongside our highly knowledgeable team in creating a fun, diverse and emergent curriculum for our children. You will contribute strongly to programming, working alongside our Educational Leader and the team in the room.
We are seeking an individual who:
* Is passionate and dedicated to providing opportunities for children to learn through play
* Has an excellent understanding of National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
* Has excellent planning skills organisational and time management skills
* Has exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional customer service focus
* An 'above and beyond' attitude to work
* Can demonstrate a good understanding of child development of all ages
*Understand the Reggio Emilia Approach
Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood - must be ACECQA recognised. Experience is a preference however, a new graduate may be considered.
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid and Anaphylaxis training
* Supervisor Certificate - preferred
* Work rights within Australia
* Excellent written and oral English language
