About the Role and what you can expect

Employed by Laureate Education Services Australia Pty Ltd to support the operational functions of TUA and/or TC; Laureate’s Success Coaches are qualified industry professionals in the relevant field of study able to leverage a student’s strengths, align their learning with their broader life purpose and give students the inside edge on success in their chosen career.

The Senior Success Coach will leverage their own strengths and coaching expertise to work with the team of Success Coaches to develop their performance in the role and improve the outcomes of Success Coaching for the business. Senior Success Coaches will grow their own coaching practice whilst supporting the performance of others, and may develop specialist strengths and skills to be shared across the verticals.

You will be responsible for:

• Coach a team of Success Coaches within the vertical, inspiring and motivating them to reach every student in their cohort,
• Drive students’ engagement with their studies and in turn improve the vertical’s retention, progression and employability outcomes
• Building robust relationships with a dedicated portfolio of students
• Providing support to students to maintain classroom and online participation, student engagement and Academic progression
• Coaching students to secure work placements and/or internships during studies
• Building students' personal and professional capabilities
• Assisting students to increase their employability outcomes
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously evolve world-class coaching models

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

We are looking for a positive, customer focused and driven individuals who are passionate about assisting students grow and develop to their full potential.

As a minimum requirement for this role:

• Post-secondary qualification in Business/Accounting or Finance
• Coaching certification training or other credentialed experiences in evidence-based coaching modalities
• Must have industry experience within Business/Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of career management and employability skills
• A strong customer focus, exceptional communication skills and creativity in solving problems
• Experience in Teaching/Academic Delivery, Student Services or Academic Learning Support is highly desirable 
• Creativity in solving problems and generating innovative solutions
• Strong personal drive and self-motivation, flexible and adaptive to change
