The Department of Marketing offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in marketing at Gold Coast and Nathan campuses, as well as internationally. On-line programs operate from the Logan campus. A recent study by Soutar et al. in The Australasian Journal of Marketing ranked the department 3rd in Australia for its research output. The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Lecturer (Level B) in Social Marketing and Digital and Social Media Marketing This position will be based at the Nathan campus. This position will play an active role in the Bachelor of Business programs at the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses, as well as contributing to the Master of Marketing and MBA program and the Discipline of Marketing. This role includes contributing to learning and teaching, research and service activities. You will have a strong commitment and track record in contemporary social marketing and digital and social media marketing education, curriculum design and be an active researcher in these areas.

This continuing, full time position is based at the Nathan campus; however the successful candidate may also be required to work on other campuses of the University as required.

About you
The successful applicant will possess a PhD focused on research relevant to Social Marketing and Digital and Social Media Marketing. You will be able to provide evidence of active collaboration with industry and community groups to develop networks at a local level, coupled with demonstrated expertise in social marketing and digital and social media marketing. In addition you will be able to work effectively in a team to actively contribute toward teaching activities, including developing, delivering and evaluating high quality, innovative marketing courses.

Salary range
Lecturer, Level B: $92,511 - $109,860 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $108,239 - $128,537 per annum.
