Noah’s Ark is an innovative not-for-profit community organisation providing early childhood intervention and inclusion support services to children (aged 0-8), with disabilities and other additional needs.
We are currently seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working as an Additional Assistant in a Kindergarten where a child with a disability is included in the
kindergarten programme.
Kindergartens are located throughout the Loddon Mallee Southern Region, including the City of Greater Bendigo, Campaspe, Central Goldfields and Macedon Ranges Shire.
The role of the KIS Assistant is to assist the preschool staff team to implement the educational program for all the children in the program. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and having the flexibility of working casual hours.
Suitable candidates will require a knowledge and understanding of the philosophy and practices of inclusion, strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively with others and a flexible and adaptable approach. Demonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting
would be an advantage.
The position is casual on a needs basis. Salary is $21.6556 per hour, plus 25% casual loading.
