We’re for children, not profit
At Goodstart, we’re all about laying the foundation for better lives through great early learning experiences. We’re entirely Australian owned and not-for profit with every dollar we spend directed towards helping children reach their full potential. Everything we do is about contributing to a better outlook for Australia’s children and a happier, more prosperous society.

We make every moment count
Right from birth, children are ready to learn and at Goodstart we employ the most up-to-date thinking in early childhood education to create stimulating, age-appropriate learning environments that give children a secure base and the confidence to explore.

We take safety seriously
Yes, we offer plenty of opportunities to get messy, explore, and try new things. We also follow strict health and safety guidelines, keep our first-aid qualifications current and ensure our comprehensive child safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.

We have a big heart
Goodstart is a social enterprise. We reach out to all families and communities, especially those facing disadvantage, we embrace and celebrate diversity and we speak up for those children and families at risk of being left behind.

Now that you have watched the above clip, you will see we truly value the importance of the first five years of a child’s life, and we hope you do too!

Goodstart is Australia’s largest early learning provider.  As a not–for–profit social enterprise, we exist purely to improve the lives of Australia’s children and their families. Our people are our foundation, together we are working to ensure children have the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life.

We’re looking for 2 enthusiastic Teacher’s to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.

Goodstart Early Learning Nuriootpa is located in the beautiful Barossa Valley among the grape vines of the district. They are tucked away in the quiet of suburbia but still close enough to schools, amenities and transport to be convenient, operating hours 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. The centre caters for 75 children aged from six weeks to 5 years

The centre has forged strong bonds with the local school which is next door to the centre. A great family atmosphere is evident when they all come together to celebrate special events, ensuring that strong bonds are formed between the children, their families and the centre.

The centre is part of a newly created campus - within the GoodFuture program. GoodFuture was created to keep Goodstart focussed on the forward horizon and how best to meet the needs of families and children in a changing world. It represents a changed mindset and encourages new ways of thinking about the way we work.

The campus prototype has seen our centres working together with greater empowerment to make local decisions, to best foster connections between our centres that enable us to consistently design and implement better offers that produce improved outcomes for children. The other Centres within our campus are Goodstart Evanston Park, Goodstart Hope Valley and Goodstart Campbeltown.

Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
