Job description
Macleay College is seeking an experienced Student Progress Coordinator – Higher Education who can deliver excellent support to help students progress through their course.
About the Role
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for:
- Helping to increase student retention through customer facing and registrar support activities.
- Providing a high standard of support to students, staff and visitors to Macleay College
- Providing administrative support to the Registar
- Manage administration of the office and ensure quality support is always available.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Core Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
- At least two years of experience in education administration or a similar field
- High level of computer literacy: sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Apple operating systems
Additional/Preferred Experience in:
- The Higher Education sector
- Paradigm student management system
- RAPLA scheduling software
- Timetable Experience
- Experience using Student Management Systems (SMS)
Core Competencies
- High level interpersonal, listening and communication skills so you can relate to a wide range of people from different backgrounds
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Organised, systems oriented and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent spelling and also good with numbers
- Flexible and able to work to deadlines/
- Can build relationships with all levels of the organisation
- Can work with minimal supervision
