The Opportunity:

We are looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Educator - Outside Hours School Care (OHSC) to join our dedicated Before and After School Care and Vacation Care team..

This is a casual position with a minimum 15 hours per week.  

The College:
The Springfield Anglican College is a leading coeducational College in the Greater Springfield area. Operating on two campuses, the College employs over 100 staff who provide a vibrant, holistic education where students are provided with opportunities to succeed and flourish.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Primary through the Nominated Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Actively supervising, interacting and engaging with children, providing learning opportunities for them as appropriate in an OSHC environment.
  • Greeting families and communicating with children as well as their parents to enhance well established partnerships between families and the Service, and to develop new partnerships with future families in a highly professional manner.

Your Application:
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Early Years qualifications (Minimum Certificate III in Children's Services or in 2nd year study in Early Years Childhood Education)
  • 12 months experience in a similar environment
  • A Working with Children Blue Card (or willing and able to obtain one)
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • An Emergency Management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
  • A positive attitude to support and encourage children
  • An energetic and enthusiastic personality
