Your new company
This new and state of the art centre is looking for an ECT to join their passionate and dynamic team. This is a stand alone centre located in the Epping region. The owners and centre manager are committed to employing high quality educators that share their dedication to delivering a child centred curriculum with a supportive and personalised approach.
With purpose built facilities, age appropriate learning environments, fantastic natural outdoor space and more specific areas ie Library and music room, this centre offers children a beautiful place to grow and develop. It is also close to Epping train station and has on site parking for staff.
Your new role
As Preschool room leader you will lead by example, supporting your team in delivering a creative and emergent curriculum. You should be passionate about building strong relationships with families to ensure fluidity and consistency between home and long day care.
Your focus for the 4-5 age range will be providing a school readiness program so that each child's transition to school is as smooth as possible.
you will also take on the role of Education leader, as such you should be confident and passionate about mentoring and supporting staff. There are 2 other room leaders that will report directly to you, as a team you will communicate ideas and monitor successful strategies for improving the standards of care and education.
You will also be responsible for researching new initiatives and take autonomy over implementing them throughout the centre.
What you'll need to succeed
- ECT degree of equivalent.
- Room leader experience
- A passion for a high standard of education and care
