As one of the most recognised providers of training and education in the child care, aged care, disability and community services sector we are seeking a genuine and motivated candidate to step into the role of Education Sales Consultant to manage enquiries from first contact through to enrolment of students across the range of courses offered domestically and internationally. This role plays an important part of providing a positive and engaging first impression for prospective students.

As a Education Sales Consultant for Charlton Brown you will be tasked with managing all inbound and outbound training inquiries, and be the initial point of contact when a student lead comes through. Many of your customers have ALREADY expressed an interest in our services. Your role will be to explore the needs of your customer, and facilitate the enrolment of the appropriate training product or service. 

Given the progressive and evolving nature of this organisation, it is imperative that you have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and thrive in a role which allows you to listen to a customer's needs, and tailor an appropriate solution.

Based in our Head Office in Spring Hill, you will communicate with your clients through a combination of telephone and email - whilst enjoying all the benefits that come with representing an in demand product offering.

To be successful in this role you must hold a naturally consultative approach to career and study options and enjoy creating and maintaining open channels of communication between yourself, your clients and your colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Relevant sales or marketing qualifications (diploma or degree level preferred) or previous sales/recruitment experience in the education sector
  • Valid “Working with Children” check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain without issue

Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in a sales or recruitment role (preferably in the education sector)
  • Knowledge and expertise in recruitment and enrolment processes
  • Experience in end-to-end lead and pipeline management
  • Proven customer service orientation and a team player
  • Knowledge of Mail Chimp and aXcelerate (CRM) is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in tracking leads and enrolments through regular weekly/monthly reports
  • Broad knowledge of industry specific regulations and reporting requirements
  • Strong PC skills - email, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation preparation and industry specific applications (preferred)
  • Proven ability to build relationships
  • Develop and deliver information to diverse range of students and customers

Exposure to working in an over the phone sales position or the training sector previously will be highly regarded.
