Centre
This beautiful purpose built centre caters for children aged 0 to 5. It has beautiful indoor areas which flow out to large outdoor areas. The successful candidate will work on a full time basis and join this fun and dynamic team. You will be responsible for driving activities, new initiatives and design of your own room.
The Role
• Work shifts between 7am & 6pm, Monday to Friday
• Develop and build long-term professional relationships with children, staff and families
• Develop and implement the centre's programs, systems and operational processes to ensure the successful running of the centre
• Plan and implement a quality childcare education program in line with the EYLF and in line with National Quality Standards
• Provide effective support, guidance and mentoring to staff members of the centre
• Manage and guide staff with their professional development and their individual goals and performance
• Ad hoc duties as required by management
The Essentials
• A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Exceptional knowledge and experience in leading a team of professional staff
• The ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A solid understanding of EYLF, policies, procedures and regulations
• Current First Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis training, WWCC
