.A unique opportunity exists for a self-motivated and driven Workplace Trainer and Assessor with excellent communication skills to work within our growing training team.
Firewatch Services/Safety Results is a Melbourne based niche provider of specialist safety and emergency response products, service and training.
The Workplace Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of Training Courses to our customer base
This position reports to the Training Manager, providing a high level of support to staff and management and providing operational support as a crucial member of the training team.
The Workplace Trainer and Assessor is expected to work as an integral member of the training team, with a strong focus on quality delivery of training courses and future development/continuous improvement of our current course scope.
As a Workplace Trainer and Assessor you will;
- Ensure quality of training and assessment is met at all times through your delivery to students.
- Assist in the review and improvement of all Training and Assessment Strategies
- Participate in Validation Sessions
Essential Criteria:
Provide quality delivery of training across all areas of the RTO and its scope of registration:
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (current) or higher including LLN;
- A minimum of 3 years relevant RTO industry experience with a sound knowledge of training and assessment delivery and validation.
- Proof of currency in Voactional Training Professional Development
- Demonstrated delivery and assessment capability
- Sound knowledge in Safe Working at Heights, Confined Space, Fire Safety and Rescue
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven business acumen
The ideal person for the role must be a self-driven individual with the ability to work autonomously, have extensive experience in the RTO sector and proven industry experience, exceptional people skills as well as demonstrated organisational skills and an eye for continuous improvement in all areas.
