We are currently seeking an exceptional Leader who is excited about our vision and values and is dedicated to ensuring children are given the opportunity to become the best that they can be.  As a Lead Educator you will be working collaboratively with your team to deliver a play-based learning program in line with the Reggio Emilia Approach. You will be supported by an extraordinary Management Team and will be given every opportunity to continue to learn and grow within our organisation. Within your role you will support a team of Early Childhood Professionals to ensure they collectively provide a holistic perspective of each child’s individual needs and collaborate with families to provide all children with solid foundations for life-long learning.

We are passionate about early education and the positive impact it has on the children we care for, the families who trust us and the community we are a part of.   We are a 125 place service positioned in the local community of Wyndham Vale and situated in the Manor Lakes Estate.

A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and Reggio Emilia Approach is integral to the role ensuring confidence in mentoring and developing the team to continue excellence.   

The ideal candidate for this position will have;

  • Diploma of Children's Services
  •  Experience within the Early Childhood Sector
  • Experience implementing the Reggio Emilia Approach
  • Confident when communicating with all families
  • Working with children check
  • Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
  • Great written and verbal communication
