About the Position:
This new position with the Faculty of Law is responsible for the co-ordination of the Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Clinic. The FDR Clinic commenced operations in January 2018 and provides high quality, caring, client-centred specialist family dispute resolution services to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients in conflict and for the entire community as a result. The FDR Clinic also provides an opportunity for students to gain their required practical experience before continuing on to Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Registration.
The position provides advice and information with respect to FDR processes in accordance with the regulations and standards. This position is key to ensuring the FDR Clinic delivers effective and professional client and file management from initial contact through to the conclusion of the FDR process.
This role will work collaboratively with other team members in the Centre for Professional Legal Education and Dispute Resolution Centre. The position is key to ensuring the Clinic provides effective and professional service to FDR clients.
About the Person:
The successful candidate will be degree qualified and/or have demonstrated equivalent work experience. They will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Previous experience in a family mediation clinic or similar environment and an understanding of the FDR process will be very highly regarded.

The hourly rate for the appointment is $40 p/h plus 9.5% superannuation.
