Like all great success stories, SAGE Automation began in a garage.  From a humble beginning in 1994 comes an international organisation who is proud to be equipping organisations with the industrial automation capabilities of the future.

With a brand new corporate head office within the vibrant Tonsley Innovation Precinct in South Australia, SAGE Group has leveraged its success by adding to its suite of companies with the addition of Nukon, Embedded Expertise, NSAG and more recently, Skills Lab. These sister companies to SAGE Automation build upon the expertise and strengths within the group, whilst meeting current and future market requirements.

And now, Skills Lab is looking to add talent to support its exciting future.

SAGE Automation launched the training line of business in 2007, which included a range of foundation level through to advanced training courses and customised training programmes in industrial automation (PLC and SCADA systems).  Originally designed to equip our own graduates to ensure they had the necessary specialist skills to succeed in industry, we recognised early on that we could also support our clients’ training needs.

We have delivered training to some of the most iconic brands across the defence, resources, utilities, energy, manufacturing and transport sectors and are thrilled by the impact we have had on job and team performance.

Now under the brand of Skills Lab, we are about to embark on our next very exciting chapter and are looking to appoint a Senior Trainer to join the team.

If you are an experienced automation professional who loves sharing your expertise and is keen to pursue a career as a Trainer/Facilitator within an automation group, then this could be the right move for you.  We will equip you with a formal training qualification to ensure you feel confident and capable to deliver industry training for industry. 

Alternatively, you may be a qualified Trainer with hands-on experience in industrial automation, hazardous areas – electrical and/or instrumentation.  If so, this opportunity will enable you to join an organisation at the cutting edge of industry, with hand-on insights to current and future technology, working on exciting and diverse projects.

As a Senior Trainer with Skills Lab, you will have access to world class training platforms (most of which we have designed and constructed in-house and also deployed across India and the US), all sister companies within the SAGE Group and what we believe is the best thinking in industrial automation.
