Essential Skills Training & Recruitment is a Registered Training Organisation. As an RTO we deliver qualifications that are nationally accredited and we also offer industry-specific non-accredited training.
We are a Newcastle-based company but provide training throughout NSW and VIC. Not only are we highly committed to providing exceptional training to our clients, we are also driven to offer our staff great working conditions.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented Disability Trainer and Assessor. We currently have a number of students in Victoria and we are looking for a local trainer to help support them. If you are currently working in the community services industry and looking to diversify or challenge yourself by moving in a new direction, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. We are looking for someone on a casual basis approx 2 days per week with the capacity to increase hours as enrolments increase.
As an integral part of Essential Skills Training and Recruitment's continued success you will need to have the following skills:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116) or willing to work towards
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the disability sector
- Minimum Certificate IV or higher in Disability or similar
- Experience in the Vocational Education and Training Sector desirable
- Clear Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check
- Willing to travel for training delivery.
- Excellent communication skills
- Be an outstanding team player who is able to work within our purpose and culture
