Develop educational activities for up to 18 children before and after school. Lead a small team of up to just two educators. Fun, friendly, and rewarding role!
THE OPPORTUNITY
Working out of a well-equipped school hall (set up and pack down), you will be responsible for the day to day running of this service and the continued development of strong community ties with the school and wider community. Welcoming up to just 18 children each morning and afternoon, these children love active play, cooking, and crafts. If you can bring these types of activities to the service; you will be a huge success with the kids!
We are looking for someone who is experienced in a childcare setting or recently graduated from their teaching degree looking to kick start their career in OSHC! Someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to continue building already established positive relationships with the school and families, bursting with energy and ready to welcome everyone with open arms! In return, you will become a truly valued part of the school and local community, with real room to develop a career with Camp Australia.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid WWCC Employee or VIT Registered
- Qualified or studying minimum level DIPLOMA in Childcare, Youth Work, or Education
- First Aid certifications – HLTAID004
- Hours are 7-9am & 2.45-6.30pm Monday – Friday with two hours administration (fully paid)
