Rochedale State School P & C operates a large multicultural O.S.H.C. service providing care before and after school as well as during vacation care for primary school children from prep to year 6.
Rochedale OHSC is looking for a Coordinator and assistant coordinators to lead our substantial and energetic team. The service is licensed for 250 children.
This position requires a person who engages effectively with primary school age children and parents, is professional and enthusiastic, and is effective in mentoring and engaging staff within a team approach.
The successful applicants will be committed to creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for primary school aged children, and will oversee our child centered activity programs and encourage and support positive outcomes for all children with regard to the “My Time, Our Place” Framework, and the upcoming new National Quality Standards.
Knowledge of current Child Care legislation, CCS and other relevant regulations will be beneficial.
To be successful in these roles you will have a Diploma of Children’s Services or relevant qualifications.Ongoing professional development and support is provided. Optional additional training is encouraged.
The roles encompasses many aspects of program delivery, including the day to day operations of the service, administration, computing, management of financial matters and liaising with key stakeholders. This position is supported by a Director.
Hours as follows;
Contact hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am-8.30am and 2.00pm to 6.00pm*
*Additional hours to be worked as non-contact are negotiable between 8.30am and 2.00pm
