About the School – Chemistry Teacher – Enfield, North London

Located in Enfield this ‘Good’ Ofsted School is looking to appoint an additional Science Teacher to join its well-run department, teaching Chemistry through to A-Level. The school has 1600 students in total who come from a range of different cultural and social backgrounds but all learn together in harmony. Teaching at the school is at a good standard and improving consistently. Behaviour is also good and the students are respectful of their teachers, especially when captivated by well-planned lessons. The science department has a dedicated team of 11 teachers who are a mixture of experienced and newly qualified practitioners led by an excellent HOD with over 20 years’ experience. The school has invested heavily in facilities for all departments and the science block is no exception with its modern classrooms and labs.

About the Role – Chemistry Teacher – Enfield, North London

This role will suit a talented teacher of Science who is confident in their ability to teach general science at key stage 3 and 4 with Chemistry at A and AS Level. This school does not have major behaviour issues but as with all schools someone who is able to inspire, engage and pass on their passion for science is what will ensure success in this role. The school is looking for a teacher who is keen to continue to develop their teaching practice to become an outstanding practitioner.
