Brighton Institute of Technology is an RTO situated in Melbourne's CBD with a technical workshop in Thornbury. We are currently looking for a trainer or trainers to deliver AUR30616 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis and AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management.
The successful candidate will join a well established, professional team. They will need to hold one or all of the qualifications listed above as well as TAE40110 or TAE40116.
Previous experience working in a CRICOS registered RTO would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite to gaining the position. Brighton Institute has a number of senior trainers willing to act as mentors.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work with a variety of people, and have at least five years experience working in an automotive workshop. Candidates wishing to train the Diploma of Automotive Management will need to be able to show experience in a managerial position within the automotive industry. This can be in an automotive workshop, car dealership, spare parts etc.
