The Opportunity 

Jetpets are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Organisational Trainer.  The Organisational Trainer contributes to the development of our organisation training strategy, facilitate its implementation and assess its effectiveness. You will identify training and developmental needs and deliver suitable training initiatives and programs that build a high performing team.

Our goal is to ensure our teams are trained and competent with subject knowledge, enhanced skillsets to assist their performance, productivity and quality of work.

This role is permanent full time position based at Jetpets Head Office located at 4 Mallett Road, Tullamarine, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. Occasional, non regular interstate travel will be required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct effective induction, orientation sessions and facilitate initial training programs for new staff
  • Play a key role in the development of strategic plans
  • Create training materials, multimedia visual aids and presentations
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs through job analysis, career paths and annual performance appraisal feedback in consultation with line managers
  • Work closely with company subject matter experts to develop appropriate training programs which you will deliver to all areas of our operation
  • Implementation of e-learning modules
  • Evaluate the needs of the company and update training programs accordingly in collaboration with the HR Manager
  • Monitor and evaluate all training programs effectiveness, success and ROI
  • Maintain training materials in the Learning Management System
  • Maintain an understanding of training trends, developments and best practice

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Trainer with relevant Qualifications
  • Track record in designing and facilitating successful training programs preferably within a call centre environment
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan, multi task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing skills and record keeping ability
  • Engaging facilitation methods
  • Strong understanding of varying training methodologies to get the best out of people
  • Strong MS Office, database skills and ability to learn new systems
