EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER POSITION AVAILABLE
Our service is currently searching for two Early Childhood Teachers to join our friendly team. The potential candidates will be offered an immediate start. Permanent or Part-time positions available.
EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER ROLE:
As the centre's Early Childhood Teacher, you will monitor, design, implement and evaluate programs for children that encourage them to explore, learn and grow. At Montessori Punchbowl we strive for exceptional standards through constant Quality Improvement.
Requirements:
- Working with children check
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Apply First aid certificate
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) as recognised by ACECQA (or currently studying towards this, at a minimum 50% completion)
- Current Teacher's registration
Your Role:
As the centre's Early Childhood Teacher, your primary responsibility is to design, implement and evaluate programs for children, in accordance with our Philosophy, the Guidelines and Curriculum and our own Lifelong Learning framework inspired by the ELYF.
Through daily observations, and applying your pedagogical knowledge and expertise you will ensure the individual needs of all children are met, and they are inspired to grow and develop into lifelong learners to achieve their very best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills is vital with a enthusiastic, positive and friendly approach
- Outstanding ability to guide their team and implement exceptional programming, observations and daily journal.
- Great knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework.
- Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQF and how to implement this into practice and program.
