We are after a special bubbly person who absolutely adores working with children - that is our top priority! We will hire based on how well you interact with children and then thoroughly train you in the world of gymnastics - you will LOVE IT!
Lane Cove Gymnastics Club is one of the fastest growing gymnastics clubs on the North Shore, with a member base of over 1000 children and growing. We pride ourselves with having one of a kind programs and outstanding coaches.
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone special to join our fun and friendly team.
We have specially designed programs that people with no gymnastics coaching experience can follow and be regarded as highly professional coaches.
We will provide full training to the successful applicant and of course we welcome any high performance coaches to apply as well for our competitive teams.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Loud controlled voice
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Enthusiastic and happy attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow as a coach through our training program and personal growth
- Passionate and motivated
- Experience working with children and parents
- Valid working with children check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Willing to obtain their gymnastics accreditation through our club
Our afternoon programs cater for children aged 5+ years of age and the hours would be approx: 3pm to 6pm (extended hours are available to the right candidate). Shifts are available Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings so we are flexible enough to work around your uni time table or other commitments. We also offer more hours (working mornings with our babies) to the right candidate - making your hours almost full time if needed.
