About the Opportunity
St John Ambulance Australia (St John) now has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Resource Development Officer to join their Canberra team. This role is being offered on a 0.6 FTE basis, approximately 22.5 hours per week.
Reporting to the National Manager (Training and Innovation), you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining training, assessment and e-learning resources for both accredited and non-accredited programs.
The Learning Resources Development Officer also works closely with other members of the Training Team, the State and Territory St John offices and members of the e-learning team.
More specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing training and assessment resources for a wide range of first aid related courses;
- Developing content for e-learning courses;
- Maintaining a library of training, assessment and e-learning resources; and
- Ensuring all training resources are compliant with the appropriate legislation and regulation.
To be considered for this position you will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) plus demonstrated experience in the design and development of training programs within the VET sector. Ideally, you will have previous experience working with an NFP organisation, however this is not mandatory.
