The Opportunity

This position will be responsible for analysis and interpretation of Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme (PBS) data with a focus on medicines for dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

To succeed in this challenging and rewarding position, the successful applicant should have excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and analyse data, prepare reports, and draft scientific journal articles.

Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a completed PhD in pharmacy, medicine or public health; post-doctoral experience in analysis of pharmacy claims or health register data and a track record of publishing in leading international journals. Applicants should also have good knowledge of pharmacoepidemiological research methods and SAS statistical software.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
