A small centre located in Mt Druitt is looking for highly motivated Centre Manager/ Nominated Supervisor position.This position is for 8-12 months maternity leave position commencing end of July 2018.

 

The Role

As the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the centre and provide innovative leadership to a team of experienced educators.You will have a solid understanding of the NQF and NQS and have the practical experience of being able to run a centre ensuring all regulatory requirements are being met. In addition to your leadership role, you will be required to be hands on to support and guide educators in achieving high outcomes for children and families.

The applicant must be highly motivated, enthusiastic     and have proven leadership skills in the Early Childhood Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times and to maintain a harmonious relationship with parents, team members and children

To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:

• ACECQ Aapproved Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Children's        Services or equivalent

• Must be able to meet current requirements to be approved as a Certified Supervisor

• Previous leadership and management experience as a 2IC / Centre Director / Centre Manager

• Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm

• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates

• Understanding of the NQF and NQS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards   and requirements

• Knowledge of CCMS and use of child care                 management programs

• Collection of fees and reporting

• Manage rostering

• Must be able to manage multiple work tasks at a time
