The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Health and Communities) portfolio leads the University’s cutting edge health strategy which is founded on engagement with our rural and regional communities and industry partners and also has oversight of UOW’s regional and metropolitan campuses and the UOW Inclusion and Outreach portfolio including the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre.

This position is unique, as Professor Alison Jones is currently performing in both positions as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Health and Communities) and Executive Dean, SMAH. The primary propose of this position is to provide high level and confidential executive support and office management to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Health and Communities) and Executive Dean, Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) in order to deliver efficient administration and office management aligned to the University’s strategic goals and associated stakeholder relationships. This position also focuses on ensuring there is cohesive and cross-functional support to each member of the University’s Senior Executive team.
