ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking experienced, motivated and adaptable English language trainers to deliver PTE and IELTS preparation courses during the evening (Monday-Friday) and weekend classes (Saturday).
Our trainers need to be organised and passionate individuals who have relevant English language teaching experience and excellent classroom management skills.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Coach on all modules of the Exam-Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.
- Conduct mock tests, provide feedback and advise students on areas of improvement.
- Contribute to ongoing program development, curriculum development, and assessment.
- Provide quality service and support to the individual learner.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrated experience in teaching English to international students;
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in a multicultural learning environment;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
- IELTS and/or PTE teaching experience is mandatory;
- Relevant qualifications including:
- a degree or diploma of at least three years full-time or equivalent (teaching or other)
- a suitable TESOL qualification or qualification that contains TESOL as a method (such as CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle or Blackboard.
- TAE40110 - Certificate IV Training and Assessment is preferred but not mandatory.
