ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will focus on the development of internal continuous improvement and quality assurance policies, procedures and business processes to ensure that the delegated authority, management of scope of registration, currency of the Institute’s training and assessment portfolio, academic quality assurance and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements are met and that Institute employees meet and exceed these standards across all course disciplines and sectors.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

• Lead a process to embed best practice and continuous improvement practices into day to day business planning.
• Build capability across the Institute to enable employees to meet quality standards across the VET, Senior Secondary and Higher Education (including CRICOS/ESOS) sectors through a proactive approach to academic quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
• Manage the implementation of Academic Quality and Continuous Improvement audit plans and actions that support the achievement of Chisholm’s goals and 2020 Vision
• Support the development, implementation, monitoring, and efficiency of business area quality programs, in line with the Quality, Audit & Risk Service Level Agreement
• Conducts quality assurance audits and develops needs assessments to identify areas of exposure and risk from a compliance and governance perspective
• Execute quality assurance and continuous improvement plans within the budget parameters, and provide recommendations for efficiency gains or additional resources where appropriate

ABOUT YOU

You will have relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in adult education, business or quality management systems in other comparable organisations. Equivalent experience would be considered a minimum of 10 years in a management or senior educator role.

Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in the management and provision of quality adult education programs as a manager or senior educator and experience in the coordination and provision of quality assurance and continuous improvement services to ensure compliance.

You are a highly motivated, with ability to analyse information and prepare high level reports as well as having excellent communication skills to negotiate and influence as well as facilitate workshops.
