Community Children Moonee Ponds and Essendon are privately owned Long Day Care Centres that have been rated as Exceeding under the National Quality Framework. Our entire philosophy is built around offering an emergent play based curriculum that sits in line with the Early Years Learning Framework which incorporates children interests and educator intentions.

We have beautiful learning environments that reflect the uniqueness of our community placing a large emphasis on creating a sustainable future for our children to live in. Our play spaces are inviting and take the children on a journey of learning provoking creativity and ideas. 

We work alongside a supportive team which enables us to provide quality care and education to children and families.

Community Children are looking at filling the following positions for certificate trained Educators:

• 4 Full time Certificate III qualified educators

Successful applicants must:

• Have a Certificate III/Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care
• Experience in a centre based service
• Have the ability to work a rotating roster between the hours of 6.30 am - 6.30 pm
• Have a current WWCC, First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certificate
• Have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
• Be able to work as a part of a team
• Have recent experience in a long day care setting
• Committed to and passionate about Early Childhood
