The School of Nursing & Midwifery is a national and international leader in nursing and midwifery education, research and scholarship, reflected in several world rankings.  With one of the largest undergraduate pre-registration nursing degree programs in Australia and a pre-registration midwifery degree we also offer a range of postgraduate courses in nursing and midwifery and higher degree research.

at Lecturer B level. These are ongoing positions and the appointee(s) will require expertise in one or more nursing discipline areas. All candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse and qualifications and/or experience recognised by the Institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.

Hold a PhD or working towards a PhD in Nursing or a related area.  Applicants currently enrolled in and undertaking a Master of Research or Bachelor of Nursing Honours will be considered however, they will be expected to be enrolled in a PhD with a satisfactory supervisor report at the completion of their employment probationary period.

They will have a demonstrable achievement or capacity to engage in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. Experience in aged care and / or primary health care will be highly regarded. Three of the successful applicants will be based at Parramatta City Campus, but to fulfil the role they may be required to travel to other campuses of the university.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $110,594 to $130,495 p.a. (comprising Salary $99,777 to $117,818 p.a., plus Superannuation, plus Leave Loading)
