About the Role
Based in a gorgeous state-of-the-art centre in Northern WA, successful applicants will be required to act as the diploma educator of the kindy room, and fulfill all related duties. Further, they will be required to cover leave for the room leader during August. This is a fantastic experience for any diploma educator looking to gain leadership experience within a Reggio Emilia based centre!
Responsibilities as a Diploma Educator will include:
- Actively contribute to the implementation of the EYLF in the kindy room
- Assisting the room leader in their leadership duties
- Developing positive and nurturing relationships with the children and parents of the facility
- Comply and adhere to the values and practices of the centre
- Supervise and act as a role model for the children at all times
Responsibilities as a Room Leader will include:
- Leadership of the educational programming of the room
- Maintainance of appropriate WHS, and general quality standards within the room
- Assisting the other educators to supervise the children in the room
- Maintainance of records, and administration for the room
- The promotion of strong relationships between the parents and children, and the centre
About the Candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you will:
- Possess a Diploma/equivalent qualification in Children's Services, as well as first aid and anaphylaxis training
- Have undergone a WWC and police check
- Have at least one year's experience programming a room
- Be friendly, approachable, and respectful
- Posess a strong understanding of the EYLF, and other related curriculums and frameworks.
