The Centre:
This small 29 place family owned service is located in Toongabbie.
The centre is located very close to public transport as well as ample parking available.
Caters to children aged 0 - 5 years old as well as children in before and after school care aged 5 - 12 years.
This purpose built centre is currently being renovated and refurbished with modern and new resources and furniture being added.
The centre is open from 7am-6pm 5 days a week.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Diploma trained Educator to work within the Preschool Room.
The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team, contribute and support the program and practice within their room, as well as providing engaging and educational experiences for the children based on their needs and interests.
It is a key part of the role to liaise and work closely with the families and centre community to cater to their needs and collaborate with the childs development and inclusion at the heart of what you do.
Experienced Educators who are seeking leadership roles are encouraged to apply as this position offers the ability to work and train towards a Centre Director role in future
The role is offering Part-Time OR Full-Time hours over 5 days per week.
Essential Criteria:
- COMPLETED Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA Approved equivalent is accepted)
- Candidates who have completed more than 50% of their Bachelor's degree are also welcome to apply.
- Hold a PAID - NSW Working With Children Check
- EXCEPTIONAL English language and communication skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Previous experience in Early Childhood or Childcare centres is essential
- Proven experience working with children aged 0 - 2 is essential.
