The Centre
A boutique 70 place family owned centre which caters for children from 0-5 years.
The centre strives to create a warm, safe and caring environment where the values of diversity and a sense of community is recognised.
The team at the centre have a genuine passion and love for early childhood development and are committed to ensuring that a engaging, creative and fun learning environment is offered each day to the children.
The centre is open from 7:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
The Position
We are seeking an experienced Director who is Degree trained to lead a team of 11 staff.
The role will be off the floor and duties will include mentoring, training and recruiting staff, updating policies and procedures, QIP, administration, fees and rosters, marketing and branding for the centre and liaising with the families.
The role will be full-time working set shifts of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

- MINIMUM of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. (Overseas qualification are accepted if they have been approved by ACECQA)
- Candidates studying towards their degree and having completed more than 50% are welcome to apply
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Directors/Management role is Essential.
- It is essential that you have proven experience increasing and maintaining occupancy.
- Experience Managing/Leadership role of a centre with at least 70 children is essential.
- Must hold a current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificate.
- Paid NSW Working With Children's Check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Strong working knowledge of the Education & Care National Law & Regulations.
- Educational Leadership, Programming and Planning experience is essential.
