Certificate 3 Educator - Full Time - Milperra
WSUEL Bankstown is situated on the grounds of Western Sydney University Campus in Milperra. We currently have a position available for a Full Time Certificate 3 Educator to join our team. The position will comply with the conditions set out in the WSUEL Services Enterprise agreement.
This is a full time position, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position commences 27th August 2018.
To be a successful applicant you must have:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Working with Children Check clearance and number for verification
- National Police Check
- Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid certification
- Minimum two years experience working in an education and care service
- Sound knowledge and working practice of National Quality Frameworks, Education and Care National Regulations and Law
- Knowledge of overall health and safety regarding education and care services
- Child Protection certification CHCPRT001 (or equivalent)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability, self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Desirable:
- Involvement in the preparation and assessment under the National Quality Standard
- Involvement in the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of meaningful curriculums for children
- Involvement in ongoing current training programs
- Experience with online documentation platforms such as Storypark
