Harvest Education Technical College (HETC) is a registered training organisation offering Nationally Recognised qualifications in English language, business and management, marketing, massage, and interpreting. We are currently seeking a casual English Trainer for our Garden City Campuses.

Due to continual growth we require English trainers to help support our students, with an immediate start date of 18th July 2018. This position is of a casual nature with English conversational classes delivered across four days a week.

About the role: 

• Deliver daily Gneral English lessons and modules
• Facilitate and guide students through English core skills, reading, writing, speaking, listening
• Assess and record student progress
• Lead workshops / tutorials and work with students
• Develop and monitor the competency levels of students on a continual basis
• Provide monthly progress reports on classes and students

Skills and Experience: 

• Demonstrable engaging and practical classroom management
• Demonstrable current experience in ELICOS teaching environment 
• An ability to build supportive rapport and quality relationships with students 
• A proactive and resourceful attitude 
• Possess strong organisational and time management skills 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• A minimum of  three years  appropriate TESOL teaching experience
• Have a current program for professional development

Qualifications – You will need to hold a minimum of: 

• Post graduate TESOL qualification or qualification that contains TESOL as a method
