Educator and Centre Cook

Educator Role
As a passionate childcare professional you will be committed to providing the highest quality of care and will be rewarded with the opportunity to build your career within a supportive and rewarding environment.
- Diploma level early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid qualification
- Part Time 37.5 hours per week
- Rotating roster - Monday to Friday
- You must be available between the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm
- You are bright, bubbly and enthusiastic
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
- Engage and supervise the children at all times
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
- Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
Centre Cook Role
Your role
- Must hold a Food and Menu Planning and Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Experience in a similar role required
- Part time, 25 hours a week Monday to Friday
- Contract Until 28/09/2018
- Must Hold or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check
Responsibilities
- Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies
- Order food supplies in consultation with centre director
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, caring and educational place for children
