About the Opportunity
Uniting Early Learning is the third largest provider of children’s services in NSW. We provide quality education and care services to over 6,000 children each year. Our goal of ‘nurturing confident and creative learners’ is the primary focus of all that we do across our Long Day Care, Preschool, Occasional Care, Outside School Hours Care. We are currently seeking an Educator to work at our Out-of-School Hours Care Centre in North Parramatta on a permanent part time basis. You will be required to work a minimum of 50 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am-9am, 3pm-6pm and vacation care when required. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strong assistance to our Room Leaders
- Develop strong relationships with children and families
- Support the service in the provision of high quality care and education for children while working within the requirements of the National Quality Standard and the approved learning framework
- Contribute to educational programs
- Facilitating play based learning
- Maintaining appropriate workplace health and safety.
- Certificate 3 in Children Services desirable
- Approved first aid qualification
- Relevant child protection clearance i.e. Working With Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People check (ACT)
