The School of Aviation offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including flight training and airborne research. The [link removed]Postgraduate Programs Coordinator is expected to have a broad range of knowledge and expertise across the full range of postgraduate coursework and higher degree research (HDR) student management.
About the role
- $82K-$97K per year plus 9.5% Superannuation and annual leave loading
- Fixed Term for 7 months until February 2019
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
The primary function of Postgraduate Programs Coordinator is to provide expert advice to academic staff and students on all aspects of coursework, analyse and develop operational plans for the delivery of student and academic services for postgraduate programs and courses.
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role you will:
- A relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience working in a university, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Course Facilitators on course content and depth, with relation to student standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to both academic staff and students from a variety of educational and cultural backgrounds, and a variety of work experiences.
- A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make recommendations based on data.
