EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time and fixed term for 2 years

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Research Fellow will be responsible for researching and publishing in one or more areas of artificial intelligence and data analytics, Internet of Things, cyber security, software engineering, human computer interactions and IT for education.
This will include:
- Contributing to their specific areas of research, scholarship or creative activity.
- Contributing to research projects and collaborations to create new insights and opportunities.
- Contributing to research collaborations and industry partnerships which have demonstrable outcomes.
- Contributing to successful development of research programs or partnerships.
ABOUT YOU
- PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a relevant field.
- Sound knowledge of at least three areas out of artificial intelligence, data analytics, optimization, Internet of Things, signal and image processing, information security, software engineering, human computer interactions (incl. AR & VR), and IT for education.
- Experience in contributing to the supervision of undergraduate honours and / or research higher degree students.
- Interpersonal skills that support the ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with a diverse range of people.
