Early Childhood Educator
Your new company
Our client, a not for profit community run child care centre is currently recruiting for an experienced Childhood Educator to join their team on a permanent basis. This centre has a focus on natural resources and outdoor play encouraging children to explore their environment.
Your new role
This role will primarily see you leading and engaging the school readiness program. You will be mentored and supported in your role by senior staff whilst given the opportunity to take ownership of projects and tasks and continue to develop this leading and renowned centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of something from day 1 and have the opportunity to take on further tasks. You will have strong communication skills with an ability to build collaborative relationships with families, ensuring a holistic approach to children’s care. An ability to work closely with other educators, supporting all aspects of the daily routine to ensuring children’s safety and well-being.
This is a full time position working 07.15 - 17.45 Monday to Friday.
Relocation support is available.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have your Diploma in Children’s Services and be able to demonstrate recent practical experience, in addition you must have the following:
• Understanding of National Quality Framework
• Working with Children Clearance
• First aid, CPR
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
• Experience programming for children aged 0-years
