About the Business

Situated in NSW at Bourke, BDCS operates the Childcare Centre (Long Day Care), Preschool, After School Care and Mobile Playgroup Services with a high percentage of identified Aboriginal enrollments in our services.

What You Need to Succeed in This Role:

  • Diploma Qualification is essential, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early childhood setting would be ideal,  however, consideration will also be given to applicants who are currently working towards their Diploma qualification.
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Nesa accreditation recognised by ACECQA  with less than 2 years’ experience in a childhood setting would also be highly considered for this role.
  • Previous experience as a director with demonstrated experience in implementing ELYF & NQF.
  • Have the ability to build strong positive relationships with our families and the community
  • A passion and enthusiasm for creating fun, interesting, educational and inviting play spaces linking the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Senior First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
  • A criminal check will be required
  • Cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC) and approved Child Protection Qualification for NSW Children's Services
  • Leadership skills, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to mentor educators by role modelling quality practice, sharing knowledge and teaching strategies
