About the role
Coral Sea Childcare Centre, is a 54 place childcare centre in Kirwan. As the Centre Manager, you will oversee leadership and operations of the centre managing a team of 9 educators. Your week will be a mix of 17 hours on the floor with the children and then leading and managing this highly successful centre.
Duties
- Leadership – lead, motivate and coach Educators towards performance excellence
- Business Management– The management of budgets, occupancy rates and fees
- Education Management – Oversee the quality of the centre’s education program.
- Compliance Management - Ensure compliance with all external regulations, legislation and policies
- Relationship Management - build strong relationships with families to ensure effective running of the service
Experience and qualifications
- Previous experience in managing a childcare centre
- Diploma-level early childhood qualification (minimum)
- Qualifications and experience required to be appointed as a Nominated Supervisor
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework & legislation relevant to Early Learning.
- Demonstrated experience in g budget management
- Senior First Aid Certificate including CPR, anaphylaxis management, and emergency asthma training.
