Diploma Qualified Room Leader

One Tree Community Services is currently looking for an experienced and talented Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our Gurlu Gurlu Maya Children's Services in Roebourne, WA. This role will see you lead by example and truly develop your leadership skills. We are looking for someone to join our team in our Kindy or Toddler Room. 
 
The Gurlu Gurlu Maya Children Service works closely with the local community in Roebourne, providing a range of services, catering for children 0-5 years of age.

Roebourne is a community located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, also known as the ‘Powerhouse of the Pilbara’.  It is 40km from the mining town of Karratha.
 
One Tree Community Services Inc. is a not for profit organisation that supports community services and child care centres throughout Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Victoria.
 
 
On offer to you:

• Up to $52,000
• Above Award Allowance
• Housing/Subsidized Child Care/ Relocation allowance is on offer

Role & Responsibility:

• Design, implement and evaluate programs for children, which meet the Centre Philosophy and Policies, Government Regulations and Quality Assurance Principles.
• Ensure the environment in which children learn and play is clean, hygienic and safe;
• Communicate effectively with children, families and the wider community.
• Work as an effective team member.
• Follow Centre Policy and Government Legislation in providing a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.
• Participate in the Operational Management of the service where required

 
Successful applicant must have:      

• Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Teaching Qualification
  First Aid Certificate
• Demonstrated experience in the child care industry
• Sound communication skills, written and verbal
• Valid Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain)
• Medical certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Supervisors Certificate (or ability to obtain) an advantage
