If you are 15 years old or over, no longer at school or completing school in the very near future, living or working in NSW, an Australian citizen, Australian Permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen then you are eligible to apply.
Mandatory Qualifications, Certificates or Licenses: A working with children check clearance must be obtained prior to offer of employment in accordance with regulations. (Applies to candidates 18 years of age or older). Please note if you hold any other qualification at a Certificate III level or higher, this would exclude your eligibility to apply.
Spread of Hours: 12 month temporary full time positions, 38 hours per week, 19 day month.
Salary: $37,380 gross p.a. + 9.5% superannuation.
You will work as part of a team in well resourced early childhood centres, learning on the job to gain Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care. Student administration fee applicable. Amount may vary according to any prior qualifications.
TAFE NSW Sydney Institute and Children's Services, Sutherland Shire Council will work together to deliver the qualification. At the end of successful completion of traineeship you will have a nationally recognised TAFE qualification.
