Koala Cottage is a privately owned and operated Centre Based Day Care in Willoughby, on the Lower North Shore. Koala Cottage is a 43 placed service with children aged two to six years the position is full time 38 hour per week over 5 days. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking person, with an interest in children and their development and learning, to join our team as an Room Leader (ECT or Diploma qualified).
We are looking for a motivated and energetic educators to join our centre in our Toddler and Preschool room. We require a qualified child care worker who holds a Early Childhood Degree or a Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent.
The successful applicant must have strong leadership skills, vision, and attention to detail and be able to meet the following criteria;
- Hold a Diploma of Children's Services / Early Childhood Degree
- Be willing to work within the centres opening hours
- Have experience setting up inviting play spaces for children
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
- Have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Be a team player
