You will work for a very progressive and fast growing organisation offering excellent long term prospects for the right candidate. Their distribution centre is based SOR.
Your main duties will include:
- Plan and ensure all Logistics Centre facilities and services are maintained to the highest standard in accordance with legislative requirements and adequate records maintained
- Participate in the annual tendering process. Make recommendations for cost efficiencies, equipment selection and coordination of other national issues within the Logistics Department
- Plan and ensure routine maintenance on all mechanical handling equipment (MHE) in the Logistics Centre and stores and adequate records maintained
- Plan and ensure routine maintenance on all non-MHE Distribution Centre equipment and adequate records maintained

This is a busy and challenging role offering excellent long term opportunities for the right person. The role will be on a casual basis initially and will then go permanent after 3 months should you be successful.

Your key duties will include:

- Participate in the annual tendering process. Make recommendations for cost efficiencies, equipment selection and coordination of other national issues within the Logistics Department
- Plan and ensure routine maintenance on all mechanical handling equipment (MHE) in the Logistics Centre and stores and adequate records maintained
- Plan and ensure routine maintenance on all non-MHE Distribution Centre equipment and adequate records maintained
- Maintain a clean, tidy, pest-free and well-organised workshop and Logistics Centre
Profile
You will possess the following qualities and experience:
Experience and qualifications
- Proven maintenance management background is a must
- Proven leadership background is a must
- Building Maintenance Computer System exposure is desirable, but not essential
- Trade qualification is desirable, but not essential
Skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong technical skills
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously
Usual working days: Monday-Friday.
Usual shifts: 7am to 3pm.
**Flexibility with hours is essential
