Your new company
Located in the City this large government department is a central policy agency, providing coordinated strategy and policy leadership for Australia's national and transport security, federal law enforcement, criminal justice, cyber security, multicultural affairs, emergency management and trade related functions.
Your new role
Managing and progressing multiple sensitive procurement's. The EL1 position provides critical support and strategic direction to the EL2 Director, through the management of staff and contracts associated with procurement's and as a procurement team leader. As well as managing a small team, the role also includes building and maintaining stakeholder networks and drafting documents including minutes to SES. The position currently manages APS6 officers.

What you'll need to succeed
This team is looking for a enthusiastic, energetic, hard worker to come in a hit the ground running. Happy to train the right candidate for certain aspects of the role but looking for someone that has experience in government admin.
You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline or NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
An active employee suitability clearance would be highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
6 month contract with options to extend depending on workload and performance at a rate of $65p/h + Super - $85p/h + Super depending on experience city location.
