Reputable Australian owned International Freight Forwarder and Customs Brokerage seeking a person with either a sound background in Import or Transport Operations for Customer Service role handling day to day requirements for key accounts in line with their expectations. This role would ideally suit a reliable person with strong attention to detail who is able to handle a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds in a professional manner.
ABOUT THE JOB
- You will liaise with overseas partners for complete document processing
- You will assist in quoting clients on their Freight requirments
- You will be working closely with customers providing updates in a timely and professional manner
- You will work closely with carriers and transport companies to ensure efficient delivery.
- A person with sound operations knowledge in Import/Transport Operations or strong Customer Service in International Freight from local experience is sought
- You will be confident to deal with customers on a regular basis with sound English communication skills and strong computer skills
- You will be working in CBD in modern office with emphasis on team work
ABOUT YOU
- To qualify you must have a minimum of 2 years local experience in Ocean/Air/Transport or Customs Operations/Customer Service gained from a similar position locally.
- You must be able to work in a small team environment with minimal supervision
- You have excellent interpersonal skills
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You will need excellent computer and communication skills
To qualify for this role you must have current local experience in International Freight Forwarding.
