True Foods is set in the historic township of Maryborough, between Ballarat and Bendigo in Regional Victoria. About the Opportunity

You will be responsible for the functional operation of the nominated flow wrapping machine to ensure a quality product is produced in a production cycle which is consistent, efficient and effective.  In doing so, you will ensure that all aspects of safety, quality and machine efficiencies are met and product produced is, as per schedule and within allocated timeframes.

Key responsibilities include;

• Efficient and effective operation of horizontal flow wrap machines
• Understanding machine/production capability and performance
• Troubleshooting areas for improvements and work closely with the maintenance and production teams on preventative maintenance requirements
• Face to face informative shift handover ensuring all paperwork is signed off with mutual agreement in line with Quality control requirements
• Effectively liaising with shift supervisors, line workers and oncoming/departing machine operators
• Assisting other production team members on the lines as required 
• Building and maintaining effective cross functional relationships

About you
Your skills and experience:

• Strict adherence to Company, OH&S and Food Safety policies, procedures and workplace standards  
• Demonstrated machine operation experience within the FMCG industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Sound literacy and numeracy, problem solving/troubleshooting capabilities and a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train others as needed
• An ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks
• Respond quickly to urgent situations through open and effective communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Flexible approach to change in daily working environment

You may be required to work outside of your regular hours to meet business needs, therefore a flexible and willing approach is required.
